I wanted to share a dream I just had.
I tried a ritual mentioned in Saya’s blog. It seemed fairly harmless, aside from the risk of mentally bumping into things, or tripping over one of the cats. I didn’t really experience anything strange, save for a feeling of static when I went into the spare room and a sensation almost like fingers down my neck in the living room. As the window was open, I assumed it was the breeze.
I decided to take a nap as I was up very late last night reading Jules Verne. In my dream I was outside of myself, watching my body complete the ritual mentioned above. I was quite relaxed and felt no sense of danger or unease. But, when we came to my bedroom I found myself standing and facing the mirror. In the mirror I could see that beneath the bed there was a young girl with a white face, dark eyes and hair who was watching me intently. There was something quite disturbing about her, an air of menace perhaps, but certainly not a happy experience. I could only see her in the mirror, not in the reality of my dream world.
She began to crawl out from beneath the bed and I woke up.
I expect this arose due to a combination of writing about Bloody Mary/Baby Blue and completing a ghost hunting ritual right before I went to sleep, but always interesting to share weird dreams.
